Hi, my name is Colin Atyeo. I’m a director of Jubilee Park Management Company and we’ve been a client of DS Howell for almost three years. Our adviser is Arron Sharkey.

We contacted DS Howell because we run a large area of public open space on quite a big residential estate, on which the state has a number of depreciating assets. So, we wanted to set up a reserve fund that would keep up with and outstrip inflation, but when we came to replacing our assets, there were insufficient funds to do so.

When we first started working with DS Howell, we found our adviser, Arron Sharkey, very straightforward and easy to deal with. He explained things in layman’s terms, and listened more than he spoke. He didn’t give too many opinions to start off with, but then came back to us after a while and repeated back to us what he thought our needs were. He was very accurate. We found DS Howell’s services easy to use and that they were understanding of our needs.

We came across DS Howell after personal recommendation from a colleague of mine. We made the initial inquiry and what struck us was that Arron was very prompt in getting back to us and thorough in his response on his company’s background and what he could offer.

In terms of our financial future, now that we’re working with DS Howell, the first thing to say is: who knows? But so far, so good. The predictions that DS Howell gave us early on were prudent, and I think we’ve exceeded them. In terms of our background, we’re in a better place than we thought we’d be. Although we can’t be certain about the future, we’re as confident as possible given the circumstances and we find this very reassuring.

If I were to look for three words to describe DS Howell, I would say honest, reliable, and easy to use.

The best thing about working with DS Howell so far is, firstly, the returns. We have a little more than we were anticipating getting back on our investment, which has been comforting and reassuring. Those three things are probably at the top of our list.

The best piece of advice from DS Howell so far is to be prudent with our investments and reasonable in our expectations. These principles have proved to be true since we’ve been working with them.

Based on our experience for our needs, I could recommend them to anyone considering working with DS Howell. The reason being that they’ve been very easy to do business with. They’ve been very responsive to any queries that we’ve had, have proved that they know their market, and they’ve helped us achieve exactly what we set out to when we gave them the scope of our requirements.
