At DS Howell, I prepare client reports and carry out research on behalf of our advisers. I enjoy being involved at every stage of the client journey and take real pride in going above and beyond to deliver high-impact results for both clients and colleagues.

Before joining the profession, I was a professional musician and teacher, and I have a strong and longstanding interest in investing and financial planning.

Get to know Dan

What do you enjoy most about what you do?

I enjoy playing a part in every phase of the client journey. I like knowing that the research and reports I prepare help support good outcomes for clients.

When you’re not at work what do you like to spend your time doing?

I love spending time with my family and enjoying relaxing weekends together in the garden. I also like going to gigs, watching Wales play football, playing 5-a-side and squash, and keeping active in the gym.

What are some of your favourite things?

Good food, funny people, sunny days, travelling, and listening to music loudly.

Do you support any teams?

I’m a big supporter of the Welsh national football team and love going to matches whenever I can.

What’s at the top of your bucket list?

A trip to Central or South America. Sky diving is up there too.

What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?

My two kids, Winnie and Joni, and my wife, Fiona (I hope she sees this!)
