I have worked in finance since leaving university in 2012. I have recently joined the DS Howell team and am currently undergoing a project looking to improve client engagement, ensuring each client is fully aware of their existing arrangements and have a point of contact should their circumstances change.

What do you enjoy most about what you do?

Helping people to achieve their objectives in retirement.

Do you support any teams?

Arsenal – unfortunately. The first team my Grandad ever took to me to watch was Arsenal and I was immediately hooked.

Where is your favourite place in the world?

Cape of Good Hope, Cape Town is my favourite place because the views are incredibly picturesque.

What’s at the top of your bucket list?

To visit 50 different countries across the world. I love to travel to different places and experience different cultures.

What one thing is guaranteed to make your day better?

A good hearty sandwich at lunch. A Rueben to be specific.

Is there a quote or expression that sums up your approach to your work?

“Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.”

When you’re not at work, what do you like to spend your time doing?

Eating out. I’m a big sports fan, mainly football and rugby. Since retiring from my playing days, I now coach a local football team – Creigiau Town. I also enjoy a game of golf with friends most weekends.
